I’m Mariana Divina Bagsic, and I’m pretty damn rad. I’m 22 years old and I’m a musician, a solo artist. People say I look like Mariqueen Maandig Reznor, which is okay by me. My nicknames include Mari, and Ana. I prefer Mari, though. My parents moved us (them, me, and my younger sister, Faith) from Davao City, in the Philippines, to Los Angeles, the Pacific Palisades, to be specific, when I was little, around 7 I think. My parents are pretty wealthy, so they enrolled me in a private school that really emphasized music education, which is why I know how to play so many instruments (vocals, piano, guitar, synthesizers, violin, flute, bass guitar). Then I graduated high school and went to college, and hopped from band to band, and then I finally settled on being a solo artist, which I love.

My “likes” include my friends and family, obviously. Filipino culture makes me smile. Industrial and psychedelia music is awesome. I like dresses, skirts, high heeled shoes jewelry, make-up. I’m a girly girl. But I’m also into video games and technology and such. Tambourines and synthesizers are love. Spa days, desserts, glamour, the whole nine yards, make my life amazing. Also, I won’t turn down a bit of a tipple. I love alcohol, let’s be real. Things that bug me… People who think they can unload all of their problems on me…even if I do care a lot about the person, I’m not a therapist, sorry. I also despise racists, sexists, misogynists, etc. They’re lame. People who have an utter lack of class also grate on my nerves. Also, drug addicts. I was a terrible addict…very recently. I only cleaned up after I almost overdosed around a year ago. Once I cleaned up, that’s when my ex cheated on me and I left him.

I’m definitely a party person. I like being around people a lot. I like going out, clubbing, partying, whatever. I also like quiet nights in and such. Pizza and movie nights are awesome. Generally, I’m a very fun, optimistic person. I’ve been described as bright, sunny, things like that. I’m a pretty chill, laid-back, happy type.

I’m a twitter/formspring addict. It’s a problem.

Relationships, you ask? I’m actually taking time off from relationships. The last band I was in was with my ex-fiance, and he cheated on me and utterly broke my heart…so lately I’ve been flying solo and having some flings and such. I miss him so much, dammit…

Fears and secrets? I’m actually afraid of the dark. Lame, I know. I also hate needles, bees, stinging insects, things like that. I miss my fiancé like nothing else and I wish things were different. Also, I’m on some pretty heavy-duty anti-anxiety meds because I have terrible night terrors because of the time I overdosed.
